Biography
Eric Swetsky graduated with a Master of Business Administration degree from Queen's University (Ontario). He holds law degrees from the University of Warwick (England) and the University of Windsor (Ontario).
He practiced law with major Canadian law firms before opening his own law practice in 1991 in the fields of advertising and intellectual property law.
Prior to attending Windsor Law School, he was employed by Ontario Hydro for seven years, assuming progressively responsible management positions there during that period. This experience enables him to place his legal advice within a business context.
He was named in the LEXPERT Directory as an expert in the advertising and marketing field. He is a member of the Canadian Bar Association's Trademark Committee. He writes a quarterly legal column for "Marketing" magazine, and publishes a quarterly newsletter on advertising and marketing law. He is a frequent speaker on advertising and marketing related topics at various related conferences.
Client base
Client base includes advertising agencies, marketing promotion firms, direct marketers, consumer product and consumer oriented corporations, public relations firms and television/film personalities.
